Eligibility criteria for affordable housing
- The applicant should be an Indian resident.
- The applicant should be between 18 to 70 years of age.
- Any individual who does not own any plot/house/apartment in any colony of the HUDA area will be given first preference for buying a home under this scheme.
- The successful applicant under this policy is not eligible for allotment of any other flat in other colonies. In case, he/she is successful in more than one colony, he/she will have to choose only one flat and all such applicants are required to submit an affidavit to this effect.
Allotment criteria and rates
- The housing units will be allotted through draw of lots handled by the deputy commissioner of a district in which the project is located.
- 5% of the total number of approved flats in the building plan will be allotted by a licensee to its employees, associates, etc. The allotment procedure of such flats will also be completed along with the draw of flats of the general category.
- The possession will be offered within four years from the date of approval of the building plan.

Waiting list and non-successful applicants
- Almost 25% of the total number of flats is kept for waiting list people.
- If any applicant fails to obtain any of the required documents or fulfill any other requirement within a period of 15 days then his flat will be allotted to the waiting list candidates.
- The waiting list is maintained for 2 years.
- In case of surrender of the flat by any successful applicant amount of Rs. 25,000 may be deducted by the colonizer.
- If any waiting list applicant wants to withdraw then he can and his booking amount will be refunded within 30 days.
- The amount of non-successful candidates will be refunded back in 15 days.

Terms & Conditions
- Payment to be done in the form of a cheque or demand draft.
- Stamp duty, legal expenses, registration charges and miscellaneous charges required to be paid by the applicant at the time of registration of the sale deed.
- The predefined size of the apartment is 28 sq. meter to 60 sq. meter and possession time is four years.
